ACE|SHIN is a rescue organization. Work is carried out by approximately 200 volunteers spread across various countries including Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, it is possible to send more than 1000 dogs and cats to a 'Forever Home' each year.

This means that as a volunteer you can ACE|SHIN the unique opportunity to use your skills for a noble cause. Whether you are in Belgium, the Netherlands or Spain: together we can transform the lives of these animals and provide them with the loving environment they deserve.

There are several volunteer positions within ACE|SHIN. Would you like to commit yourself to ACE|SHIN, sign up as a volunteer or respond to a specific vacancy on this site. Volunteer positions within ACE|SHIN for example: advertiser, home visitor, aftercare employee, transport supervisor, promotion employee, goods collector or driver/goods transport.

CLEANER - SPAIN

VACANCY CLEANER – SPAIN

    What are you going to do?

    • Cleaning dog and/or cat cages.
    • Caring for and feeding animals.
    • Cuddling and playing with the animals.

    Practical information:

    • The working hours are negotiable. For example, you can work from 09:00 to 13:00, but working more or less hours is also possible.
    • This vacancy is open all year round. Even if you only want to help for one day. Every little thing helps.
    • Make work even more enjoyable and efficient by working together with someone else!
    • If you want to help for a longer period, we can see if we can help you find suitable accommodation nearby.

    WALKER - SPAIN

    VACATURE WALKER – SPAIN

    What are you going to do?
    Are you looking for a fun activity to do on the Spanish coast? Come walk with one of our dogs. Walking our dogs is an active experience for you, and for a dog a world adventure, and the chance to get out of his kennel.

    Next to the refugio is a beautiful walking route. It is also possible to go to the beach with the dog(s). Our volunteers will be happy to tell you where you can walk best!

    HANDYMAN/TECHNICIAN - SPAIN

    VACATURE HANDYMAN/TECHNICIAN – SPAIN

    We are looking for help for all kinds of jobs, from carpenter to painter to electrician to “handyman”. Many Spaniards are not prepared to do these jobs in a shelter where dogs also run free. That is why we are looking for help for small and large jobs, repairs, construction and maintenance. Whether you are available for a day or a longer period, we can really use all the help.
